Chas Got the Spins, currently based in Seattle, WA, is an electronic rock artist heralding the return of the apocalyptic stadium rock sound of the 70s and 80s that both preceded and warned us of the times we find ourselves in. The collective music of CGtS is a genre spawning musical statement about the life and times of the modern determined individual in the era of likes and follows. Chas Got the Spins is the moniker of Charlie Rice: the sole writer, performer, and producer in Chas Got the Spins. Chas Got the Spins is Seattle's only truly independent artist. 

The Best Revenge, the latest full length release from Chas Got the Spins, merges 70s arena rock with 80s power pop. It's 90s DIY attitude is an electronic update on the grunge energy that once saturaded Seattle. The music is dripping in agonizing anolog screams and synthetic sonic dive bombs, and the album's accompanying lyrics are equally relentless in their desperation to shout out the message we all want to hear: our energy belongs in the streets and in the clubs, not suspended in virtual traps set by monied influencers.

Keeana Kee is a New York based singer and a professional model.

Keeana was born in Latvia but moved to the UK as a teenager and began singing at events in London. Keeana quickly took to performing live with a cover band developing audience participation skills and around her own style of music. Inspired by her idols Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Beyonce Keeana realized a dream in 2016 by moving to the US, where she began working on her first records.

Keeana’s Exotic Pop style is a combination of Pop, Afropop and Latin influence that brings integrity to her work, that is refreshing and full of exotic taste.

Keeana Kee’s soulful vocal timbre is often compared to Sia, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez. Musically she began to learn a piano and a guitar to aid her journey into writing her own songs.

Keeana’s debut tropical reggae single "Coconut Rum and Coke" is a breezy reggae track that mimics the laid back vibe of its title, featuring Latin Grammy-winning producer Maffio. The accompanying video saw her as a member, passionate activist and a supporter of the LGBTQ community. Keeana Kee is not one to shy away from controversy, her music videos have touted her sexuality, while her most recent, the Afropop tribal percussion of “Sweet Heaven,” offers a veiled critique at this country’s increasingly harsh border policies.

Artist Biography

Born and raised in East Orange, New Jersey, he was the second child born of eight children. Eugene started playing the guitar at the early age of 4. He later attended East Orange High School. His father, Roscoe Williams, was a member of the gospel group called the Williams Brothers. He noticed that Eugene had a special ability to play the guitar. Roscoe took Eugene to church on Sundays to perform.

During high school, Eugene began playing music with his brothers, as the band leader. As time progressed luck arrived in Eugene’s favor when he met Steve Washington a.k.a. The Fearless Leader, who was a member of the famous group Slave. Slave generated a hit song called Slide during the late 70’s.  Additionally they went on to record; Walking Down The Street Watching Ladies. 

Twelve years later, Eugene enrolled for his academic training at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. While pursuing his Associate degree at Berklee, Eugene traveled back home on weekends to perform at shows around local towns, with his brothers. They performed in Broadway theaters throughout New York City. During the 1980’s his father eventually became manager of the group and they traveled to New Zealand and Canada in pursuit of emulating their career, as performers.

During life in New York, Eugene met the owner of Clarence Music who recognized Eugene for his extraordinary talents, which then enveloped into recording sessions. Clarence Music prompted Eugene to embark on a solo career and he accepted under contract, a series of songs that would move him to the next level. Within a short period Eugene then released his first solo ‘Cruising with You’ that rose to the top ten in 2006, and sustained a period of 10 weeks on the international charts.

In 2004 Eugene embarked and was awarded a contract with both Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland Cruise Lines, as an entertainer. It was Eugene’s first global travel experience to see countries and locations that he earlier dreamed of visiting. Over 10 years, he went to countries such as; Canada, The Bahamas, Australia and New Zealand.

Having attained status as an international Singer, Songwriter, Jazz Guitarist and Composer, Eugene met Leroy Green who is the writer of the song Disco Inferno that was performed by the Tramps, an earlier emerging group during the 1980’s.  Further adding to his ongoing interaction with famous individuals and groups within music, Kool & The Gang invited Eugene to become a writer for their material.

Eugene represents a developing generation of great singers, songwriters, performers and entertainers. He is inspired by the genius of The Beatles, AC/DC, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Michael Jackson, George Benson, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Wonder, who are all personal favorites of Eugene. 

It's not every day that the music world and music lovers experience a talented sound as diverse as Eugene Williams.

Grackle is a Louisville, KY 7-piece ensemble consisting of Steve Katsikas (Keys/Vocals), Jeff Gard (Drums/Percussion), Mike Lankford (Bass), Myra Kean (Violin, Sax, Flute), Travis Carlisle (Cello), Jennifer Lauletta (Vocals), and Josh Parker (Guitar).  The band released their third album, "All That Matters" on 11/23/2024 and has released two other albums to date.  They have played nearly 50 shows in the region.  Their style of music defies easy categorization, mainly due to the unique influence of the featured string players, extended compositions, and obvious chemistry of the players.

In a world where music is categorized, sub-categorized, and compared to current and past music, Grackle is an enigma.  Elements of indie piano-rock fuse with classical, progressive rock, jazz, folk, and acoustic rock in unexpected ways.  The Louisville, KY based band has been evolving since 2015, releasing their 3rd album, "All That Matters" in 2024.  The 7-piece band features electric violin and electric cello, adding classicial flourishes, droney soundscapes, and ferocious sawing interludes to a band that is determined to be its own thing.  Lyrically, the band's vocalist, Steve Katsikas finds inspiration in politics, conflict, peace, and loss, delivering plaintive ballads, angular anthems, and haunting missives.  A work always in progress, Grackle continues to fly in irregular and interesting patterns, always in search of what is lost and what is found again.
